Storage and appliances

Budget, scope, and living through it
Set an all‑in budget (design, labor, materials, appliances, permits, contingency of 10–20%)and define what you’ll cut first if costs rise.
Plan how you’ll live without a kitchen (temporary setup, takeout, timeline expectations) andalign with your contractor on schedule, dust protection, and daily cleanup.
